Last year around this same time we released a similar infographic highlighting all the jobs Moms do day in and day out. While we did mention working moms, most of the statistics were more focused on stay-at-home Moms. One working mom commented:
So what about the amount of work that moms who work outside the home as well as carrying the load within the home? I don’t discount stay-at-home moms, but most of us who work full-time still do the work.
We hear you working moms, and this infographic is for you!
While gathering the data, we noticed the original source calculated the 57.9 hours working moms put in at home every week as 40 + 17.9 overtime. That didn’t seem fair to the Moms who are already putting in 40 hours outside the home. So instead, we went ahead and counted all 57.9 of your hard spent hours at home as overtime pay (you can thank us when you figure out where to pick up your paycheck).
Thank you working Moms for all you do!
What about stay-at-home Moms?
