Students spend a portion of their time in clinical training in local hospitals and other facilities. This training gives real-life experience gained from working with health care professionals and is an invaluable aid for the students. AmeriTech College also utilizes various Human Patient Simulators. This simulator experience will give students experience in true-to-life scenarios and immediate patient feedback simulating a patient's response to various treatments.
While the program is expensive, a student will be in the workforce as a full-time RN in only 18 months. The RN program also works well for those who have families and work since classes typically are only 2 days out of the week. Financial aid is available.
