According to the school, Calvin continues to be recognized nationally as much for being a top ranked comprehensive college as for being a premier Christian college. Calvin offers its 4,000 students and nearly 400 professors a campus environment that is just as academically challenging as it is Christian. Through more than 100 academic options, including several accredited pre-professional programs, students explore all things while combining faith and learning in real, meaningful, and lasting ways. More than 80 percent of Calvin professors hold the highest degree in their field, the student/faculty ratio is 11:1, and the average class size is 22. Off-campus programs take students to more than 20 locations while service-learning projects and internships help students explore their gifts while gaining valuable experience. In a recent survey, 96 percent of Calvin graduates report that they have either secured a job or begun graduate school within six months of graduation.
