Nursing (RN completion to BS) (RN req.)
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing program prepares registered nurses (RN) to meet the many changes in the healthcare field by expanding and enhancing their nursing education. The program is available to registered nurses only. This program prepares graduates for leadership roles and graduate study in nursing. The graduate is prepared to utilize theory and research-based knowledge in the provision of care to the client, family and community in a global society with flexibility to adapt to the changing nature of healthcare and healthcare roles. The graduate is also prepared to integrate care across multiple settings, managing the interactions between and among components of the integrated network of healthcare services. The graduate will be prepared for positions in community health clinics, private practice, hospitals, and patient care facilities.
