Comments about College of Eastern Utah:
I went to this school because I had a full-ride scholarship but it was the only one I applied to. I fell in love with the campus on a visit while I was a senior in high school. It was small enough that even the freshman classes only had about 25 people in them, and the more narrow the subject, the less students in class. I was on a first name basis with all my instructors and LOVED the two years I spent there. I went when online classes hadn't really hit the mainstream and I would have enjoyed taking some of the general eds online, but otherwise I had a very enjoyable time. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to move on with my life. One of the only drawbacks was the lack of a social scene because the school is primarily a commuter school for surrounding communities. But I spent a lot of time in Moab (2 hours away) plus we always found things to do on the weekends. It just wasn't as social as Snow or Dixie. I was an engineering major, so it was no big deal to me. The instuctors were amazing and provided a ton of support outside the classroom.
