Stonecliffe College Online Now Offers Accelerated Learning Option

Stonecliffe College Online, an academic division of Colorado Technical University, is pleased to announce a new accelerated learning option that gives Associate's degree candidates a significant amount of control over how quickly they can earn an industry-current, career-focused degree.

The original Stonecliffe College Online learning model was designed to offer a slower pace of study that required students to take just one course at a time, enabling motivated individuals with demanding lifestyles to fit a real-world Associate's degree program into their existing schedules. It also offered a convenient alternative for students wishing to gradually acclimate to a technologically advanced online learning environment.

With web users becoming increasingly familiar and comfortable with interactive Internet technologies, and with more students now wishing to build their professional credentials as quickly as possible, Stonecliffe College Online now offers an accelerated option that allows students to take two courses at a time.

All students begin with a singe course during the first session. However, beginning with the second session, they can choose between an accelerated and decelerated pace.

• In the accelerated option, students take two courses every 5 1/2 week session. By taking two classes at a time, students can complete the Associate's program in as little as 15 calendar months.
• In the decelerated option, students take just one course every 5 1/2 week session. By taking just one class at a time, students can complete the program in 30 calendar months.

After completing the first 5 1/2 week session, all students default to an accelerated pace of study unless they inform their Academic Advisors of their desire to keep learning at a decelerated pace.
