Comments about Colorado Technical University:
I selected this school for its competitive tuition, I wanted online education and the degree I wanted to obtain they had. The courses are structured for real-world activities and the application of them are cutting edge. When I was looking for a school and came across CTU the Admissions Advisor was very professional and informative. Any situation I have come across has been addressed and always resolved in a positive experience. "I believe all the staff at CTU truly want their students to succeed; not just in the class room, but in life".

Comments about Colorado Technical University:
I started at CTU after a few years of being away from college. I was told that their tuition is affordable but there are cheaper online schools! When I started with the application fee with CTU it felt strangely familiar. The advisor told me that I needed to tell him (or to write him, I can't remember exactly) why I wanted to go back to school and he said that he was going to take it to some big meeting that morning to see if I would be accepted. I thought the $50 application fee was acceptance enough. When I started school and got to touring the virtual campus I realized that it was the exact same setup as when I went to American Intercontinental University Online I attended 3 years prior. I found out later that the two schools are run and owned by the same company which, by the way, is not CTU. They don't use professors from CTU for all of their classes but regular Joes from around the US with no teaching degrees. Their twice a week live chat sessions are useless because they make some of them on Saturdays at 7am Central (Why a school "based in Colorado" would use Central time is beyond me...) which is 5am Pacific and expect me to attend it live because it is most convenient for the instructor. They do offer to view the archived versions of the live chats later but they are worthless because you can't ask any questions then and the instructor is just reading the powerpoints that were created by the school 5 years ago. The instructors are no help at actually teaching anything and there is no sense of interaction whatsoever outside of the live chats. There are definitely better online schools out there. Keep researching!I haven't technically been compensated yet for this post, but there was an offer if my review was randomly selected.
