Comments about Eagle Gate College:
-- I chose Eagle Gate College, because I didn't like the atmosphere of the community college. It felt as though I was back in high school, depending on the class. I saw a commercial for it for a program I was really interested in, so I decided to enroll and see how I fit in.
-- Notes about my cons I listed, the school actually offers online classes, but not for the program I was going into. Which was computer network administration. They also only offered it in one location, even though they have multiple locations, which is a very big inconvenience since I moved.
--Also, the tuition prices are very high (to me) but they also offer degrees in half the time of a 4 year school, so that's understandable.
--After graduation, they offer a program to help you find a job, for the rest of your life, they also will refresh your knowledge in your degree after you graduate, in case you need to take another class as a refresher course. Which is also excellent.
--To help in finding a job they offer classes on how to make a portfolio, if you're graduating in a field that uses those when applying for a job. You're also required to take a strategy for success class, which helps you with motivation for school and your career. It's annoying, but it will help you in the long run.
--All in all, I do recommend this school to anyone interested in post high school education. All my teachers have been great and most of them will stay and tutor you if needs be.
