I attended Florida State because it has a strong Psychology department. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and the quality education I received ... as did my mother, father and brother in their studies with the music department, which is one of the best in the nation.
We all found that the school challenged us with the coursework, drove us to excel,and encouraged us to succeed during our time there and sent us out into the world with the skills we had learned with us allowing us to succeed.

You would be hard-pressed to find a graduate of Florida State University who doesn't have fond memories of the years they spent on campus. Current students will also agree that they are happy with their decision to attend school here. There is something for everyone, from athletics to academia, and you would have a hard time finding a more comfortable setting than Tallahassee. It has so much to offer, from exciting nightlife to beautiful weather.Although it bears the reputation of a party school, FSU also has a growing reputation for turning out some of the best and brightest graduates in the entire nation. The school is now turning its focus on research, which should appeal to those interested in science and mathematics. But never fear, FSU also emphasizes the arts through their award-winning film and theater departments. From math and science, to the arts, FSU offers a vast array of eclectic degrees, which will be nothing but helpful later in your life. Choosing which college to attend is not an easy decision, but if you're looking for the perfect combination of a good education and a good time, you can't do much better than Florida State University.Read more: [@]

I am a graduate of FSU and if I had it to do all over again, would make no other choice. It is a beautiful campus and I feel I definitely got my money's worth with the education. The feel of the campus is energetic, healthy and motivating! I selected this school for their dance program and came from out of state. Because of the opportunities on campus, I was able to make an entire group of new friends and memories while still experiencing a top notch education! The only negative I experienced in 4 1/2 years was having to live in a non air conditioned dorm (Smith Hall) my entire first year but I believe that has now been upgraded.
