Associate of Science in Business Online
The Associate of Science with Concentration in Business degree program is a 64-credit, lower-division academic program, with 48 credits in major courses, designed for adult learners who wish to relate their practical career experience to business and management theory. It is designed to help students acquire skills and knowledge essential in the business world, while providing a strong background in liberal arts. The program introduces students to the basic structure of the business world. Business management topics covered include: oral and written communication; free enterprise; economics; government; law; accounting; and human resource management. Also included in the program sequence are liberal arts courses covering environmental science, mathematics, and humanities. The core curriculum is structured sequentially, with students taking one course at a time. Courses involve four-hour class sessions once a week, generally for five weeks. Participants also form study groups made up of three to five students who meet outside of class to work on assigned individual and group projects

The Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Technology Online (ASTO) program consists of 62 credits of course work that includes both computer and liberal arts courses. Our graduates are not only able to manipulate computer systems, but also possess the critical thinking, communication and problem solving skills expected in today’s competitive job market. If one is interested in a bachelor’s degree in business information systems or another Indiana Wesleyan University business degree, he or she may apply previous course work and take ASCIT courses to meet the 62 credit hours required to enter the bachelor degree program.

The Associate degree in Criminal Justice Online (ASCJO) program consists of 62 credits of course work which includes both criminal justice and liberal arts curricula. This degree program is designed specifically to prepare working adults to enter or advance in the fields of criminal justice and homeland security or to provide a foundation for completion of a baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice or a business-related field. The courses in the program relate theory to practice. Instructional methods include lectures, seminars, workshop activities, simulations and business case studies.
