Jarvis Christian College, a traditional liberal arts institution, provides a quality education in the Judeo-Christian tradition. The mission of the College is to prepare students intellectually, socially, and personally to function effectively in a global and technological society. \r\n\r\nThe College prides itself on providing an education for students, who otherwise, may not have an opportunity to receive a college education. From initial enrollment students are provided with a variety of activities inside and outside the classroom. These opportunities range from being exposed to new ideas and techniques that include the “first-year experience” to study abroad opportunities, internships, opportunities for travel to attend cultural events, attendance at research conferences to observe and present scholarly papers, joining fraternities and sororities, and to participate in political forums.
