The school offers extra classes including advanced nail classes and a couple advanced hair cutting classes but these classes cost up to $150 extra so most students can't attend. Instructors try to help as much as possible but they are normally under so much stress because of the owner who is also an instructor. Employee turnover is horrible. The school owner is a very seasoned hairstylist but is impossible for some students to learn from her because of her personality. Most students are terrified they may set her off. Class registration is a very simple process because it is handled by a admissions specialist. The schools top priority seems to be monetary gain rather than unceasing the students learning experience. Students are suspended left and right and are required to pay a fee of $20 per day for everyday their are suspended which can spam up to two weeks. Also you can be sent home for being in an "improper uniform" this includes you under garments which can periodically be checked. There are different rules that apply to everyone. Students are required to do extreme cleanin including sweeping the sidewalk, cleaning the walls and baseboards, mopping the entire school everyday, along with cleaning the owners office and doing towels for her salon. The owner checks the bottom of chairs, window sills, blinds curtains, dryer vents, and a/c filter for dust and students are written up if it is not cleaned everyday. I could go on and on I would just suggest anyone wanting to go here be prepared to be treated terrible. Your experience will start out pleasant and then by the time you graduate you will resent the owner and feel like you have wasted your money.
