The Mercy College Honors Program offers unique preparation for high achieving students through exceptional academic challenges, an enriched learning experience, and engaging co-curricular activities. The Mercy College Personalized Achievement Contract (PACT) is a visionary program designed to maximize student and career success. PACT students are assigned professional mentors who provide integrated support for academic, career, and personal growth. Together, they create a customized plan designed to guarantee academic excellence. Learning on Location courses provide students the opportunity to think beyond the walls of the classroom and geographic boundaries for a lifetime of learning. One half of the course is in the classroom while the other half is fully on location. Mercy College has participated in the Model UN Conference for the past 21 years, making it among the top 30 schools in the country in terms of continuous participation. In addition to being a long-time member of Model UN, Mercy College is also an NGO (non-governmental organization) associated with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations. Mercy College offers an innovative five-year BS and MS Dual Degree program in Education, which allows students interested in the teaching profession a career choice to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in five years. The Executive Development and Growth Experience program is an accredited, accelerated, completion degree program designed to accommodate working adults. Corporate and Homeland Security program (B.S.) is the first in the nation and only program of its kind that combines both business and security programs in the U.S. Services or Buildings The Roy Disney Center for Animation is the technologically rich centerpiece for study in computer animation and design. Five convenient campus locations in Dobbs Ferry, Bronx, Manhattan, White Plains and Yorktown Heights. Mercy College is a NCAA Division II member and offers intercollegiate, intramural, and recreational sports. All full-time students (at least 12 credits) in good academic standing are eligible to try out for college teams.
