Esthetics Technology
The Esthetics Technology program is designed to give the student the knowledge necessary to develop manipulative skills for entry level into the Esthetics profession and to help prepare graduates to qualify to sit for the Tennessee State Board licensing examination. Coursework includes instruction in bacteriology and disinfection, skin structure, diseases and disorders, facials, aromatherapy, body treatments and microdermabrasion. Upon successful completion of the licensing exam, graduates will be issued a license by the Tennessee State Board. Employment opportunities include salons, spas, dermatology offices and other related businesses as an esthetician, skin specialist, educator, platform artist, manufacturer?s representative, facial product salesperson and more.

Nail Technology
The program objective is to give the student the knowledge necessary to develop manipulative skills for entry level into the Nail Technology profession and to help prepare graduates to qualify to sit for the Tennessee State Board licensing examination. Course work includes instruction in professional development, bacteriology, sanitation and disinfection, nail structure, diseases and disorders, natural nails, artificial nails, pedicures, business/computer principles, product knowledge, and other selected topics.
