Our Unique Approach

Nossi College of Art teaches the skills you will use daily in your career. Our instructors are experienced professional graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and web designers who understand what employers are looking for when hiring new employees.

Our students regularly enter and win local, regional and national competitions, such as the annual Student ADDY Awards. For two years in a row Nossi students have swept the photography awards and led in illustration with their outstanding work. Nossi College of Art won one Gold and four Silver Student ADDYs in photography and all three of the Gold along with five of the six Silver Student ADDYs in the illustration category. Students also received two of three “Judge’s Choice” awards. And for their total number of winning entries, Nossi College of Art was awarded the 2007 MVP College of the Year by the Nashville Advertising Federation. Our Photography students swept the photography category at the 2008 7th District American Advertising Federation (AAF) Student ADDY competition. The college also received five Student ADDYs in illustration, earning the most awards for illustration than any other college or university in the five states represented. For three years in a row, Nossi College of Art has won awards at the American Advertising Federation’s National ADDY Award competition. Competing with colleges and universities from across the country, Nossi College of Art won their first National Student ADDY Award for Illustration and their third National Student ADDY Award for Photography.
