Comments about Oregon State University:
Enjoyed my experience. My graduate program at OSU was a much different experience than my degree program from my undergraduate school. Definitely smaller classes and more interaction with professors. Corvallis is a great college town, too. There's nothing like how the city feels on a home football game Saturday.

Comments about Oregon State University:
I attended OSU for my Ph.D. from 2002-2007. Really great people. The Computer Science Department was doing fantastic work and under my advisor, Professor Prasad Tadepalli, I was given significant academic freedom and expert guidance. It was an amazing 5 years of my life for which I would not trade anything.
Pros
- Focus on Environment
- Outdoor Activities
- Small Town Feel
Cons
- Hidden Graduate Fees

Comments about Oregon State University:
Oregon State University has amazing programs in Computer Engineering, Forestry, Oceanic Sciences, and Entrepreneurship. The city of Corvallis loves this University and this town goes all-out to support the Beavers. Corvallis boasts extensive bike trails throughout the city. Hiking and mountain biking trails are only a few minutes away. Oregon's reputation as an environmentally friendly state is well deserved, and OSU is at the forefront of developing "green" technologies. A single word of caution to incoming grad students: "Beware the hidden fees!!"
