Business and Accounting Specialist
This is an intensive program covering everything from accounting fundamentals to auditing. Eighty percent of the coursework relates directly to the accounting field. All students are required to complete a special project demonstrating effective application of knowledge and skills they’ve gained. Curriculum includes areas of study such as Payroll and Payroll Taxes, Automated Accounting, and Business and Individual Income Taxes. General studies classes such as Introduction to Psychology and Principles of Economics are also included. The program is rounded out with comprehensive computer applications training including Windows, MS Word, Microsoft Excel, MS Access, and Microsoft Powerpoint.

Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education Program prepares students for work with infants, toddlers and pre-school age children in a variety of settings and programs that require a full understanding of how children grow learn and develop and who are capable of contributing positively to those processes. The program addresses both the theoretical foundation in principles of human growth and development as well as programs and curriculum appropriate for younger children. Students are required to participate in field experiences that help prepare them for positions as staff member of child care centers, museums, pre-schools and nursery schools.

This is a specialized program designed to make it possible for students with professional experience or prior college degrees to pursue an accelerated course of study toward becoming a Paralegal. To enroll, students must hold 30 college credits or higher, or two years of legal experience or eight years of administrative experience.
