Comments about Snead State Community College:
Simply put, Snead State (SSCC), presents and reflects a lot more potential than what appears on the outside.
It is a small community college located in Boaz, Alabama. Excellent in my case, as it was really close to home. Dispite its small size, and appearance as just another community college, SSCC provides a lot more than you might expect.
Nestled within a small community, SSCC was a very close knit, and welcoming college. The staff was friendly, and the assistance was very quick. It was also a quickly growing community in and of itself. Though it is a small school, it did provide what I was needing for my future development. Though some offerings were limited, be it degrees, or classes themselves, what was provided met the requirements needed, often exceeding what you may have expected from the class.
SSCC has also began expanding into 4 year degrees, via Athens State, and also now provides several distance learning centers; including one in my home town. As well as online classes, lead by very knowledgable teachers.
In conclusion, a lot is provided for such a small school, and it continues to grow to this day.
