According to the school, Talladega College was the first in the state of Alabama to admit all persons regardless of race, gender, religious preference, or national origin. Today, it continues to instill in its students the value of understanding all cultures to better serve all of mankind. For that reason, Talladega’s graduates are widely sought after and represent the best in all arenas. The small, quaint campus is known for its family-like atmosphere in which students are nurtured by faculty, staff, and administrators alike. Exposure to the arts, politics, business and opportunities to explore scientific pursuits are the college’s strengths.
