A Union education emphasizes opportunities for innovative and active involvement in the learning process. Our strong core curriculum provides an excellent liberal arts education for our students. We emphasize undergraduate research and close work with faculty, and encourage students to present their work at conferences including NCUR and our Steinmetz Symposium. We encourage students to experience other cultures and our own first-hand, so more than half of our students study abroad and we provide opportunities for civic engagement and internships. Our engineering program enables us to offer courses that integrate technology and the liberal arts.\r\n
