The mission of the University of New England is to educate men and women to advance the quality of human life and the environment. The College of Osteopathic Medicine is Maine’s only medical school and New England’s only osteopathic medical school. The College of Health Professions is organized around an innovative model for integrated, interdisciplinary health care education. UNE educates more Maine students in the health professions than any other college or university. The College of Arts and Sciences features a unique Marine Science Center that combines education, research and marine animal rehabilitation in one facility.
