Established in 1894, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is a comprehensive regional university with 8,800 students. The four colleges of letters and science, fine arts and communication, natural resources, and professional studies, provide a broad foundation of liberal studies and offer over 100 program choices within 50 majors and 16 graduate programs. The picturesque campus includes 30 buildings, three student centers and the 275-acre Schmeeckle Nature Reserve.
