The University of Wisconsin-Superior fosters intellectual growth and career preparation within a public liberal arts tradition. Founded in 1893 as a teacher’s college, it has grown to a student population of 2,900 with undergraduate, graduate and distance learning programs. The university embraces its size for the personal attention and opportunities for active learning it can provide to students. The university has nearly 800 on-campus residents and serves many students who travel daily from throughout the Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota region.\r\n\r\n \r\n
