According to the school, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is a premier regional comprehensive university that takes pride in its regional leadership, national presence and global vision. Many of its academic programs are among the best in the country. For more than a decade the accounting program has been number 1 in the nation for the percentage of undergraduate students achieving first-time pass rates on the Uniform CPA exam. The university consistently sends one of the largest groups of students to the National Conference on Undergraduate Research.
