Comments about Westminster College:
I attended Westminster for my undergraduate degree in Communication and my graduate degree in business. If they had a Ph.D. program, I would be going back to Westminster for that program. The professors are great, the class sizes are small, there is a good balance of group work/individual work to prepare you for team work in a real work environment, the international trip in the MBA program was one of my favorite experiences of all time, and overall - Westminster is just awesome! The tuition cost is worth it.

Comments about Westminster College:
Utah's only private, non-profit, Liberal Arts program? Yeah. . .
I went to Westminster straight out of High School and received a phenomenal education. I have been an advocate for the Westminster program since I was involved in it, and that is now, an almost twenty year relationship.
Westminster offers an entire spectrum of opportunities for student involvement. It also allows for those students who want to get up, go to class, and then go straight back home. AND - that is just the traditional student roles. If you are a student who desires a part time program, Westminster accommodates for that, as well. Many of their programs can be completed by students who work full time AND have families, as well. The course offerings are diverse enough to fit any potential student's schedule.
Bottom line - would I recommend Westminster College of Salt Lake City to my friends? I will tel you I have already, and I will continue to do so. Now - tuition is steep, but the value is there. If Westminster is a program in which you may be interested, I would suggest you do not hesitate to contact the Admissions and enrollment offices.

Comments about Westminster College:
I chose to enter the MBA program at Westminster College in 1998. The private school with small class sizes offered a reputable program designed for career professionals just like me. When I was attending the program, the .com craze was in full bloom and figuring out how [@] and [@] could make any money with no actual storefront location seemed like a nice challenge to take on at the time. Then, I graduated and was given the opportunity to decide if [@] or [@] offered the type of career opportunity I was seeking. In the end, I chose to purse the healthcare industry, but I am sure [@] would have served me just fine. My advice to students considering this school is simple. Education will always be with you and obtaining a degree from a highly accredited top notch school like Westminster College will never steer you wrong. Attending this school will provide the information you need to create many new opportunities which will lead to more choices for you. And, you will gain everything you need to know to live your dream, whether it includes dog food or not.

Comments about Westminster College:
I chose this school for my MBA because it had an extremely flexible format that was targetted to working adults. The price was comparable to The UofU's program when you took into account that your tuition includes all your books, fees, and a 10 day international business trip you do later in the program. While individual classes usually only had one slot per 7-week block, you had lots of options for the order and pacing of your class loads. I even took a block off when I changed jobs and needed to focus on that.
While not all of my teachers were awesome, the good ones are REALLY good. I really feel like I developed a holistic view of business, as opposed to an over-focused, siloed view.
I noticed an increase in class sizes during my 3 years there, and it got frustrating. I hope they recognize that and get the sizes back down. There was a significant upheaval in the program administration while I was there, so that may have contributed to that. A new dean is now in place, and hopefully will do very well.

Comments about Westminster College:
Westminster College is a private university, hence it is expensive. However, their focus on personalized attention to students and small class size is great. The professors really do care about the students and take great interest in helping them in and outside of the classroom. They foster a unique learning environment and provide numerous real life examples to learning topics. I enrolled in the MBA program and really enjoyed my experience. I would highly recommend Westminster if you can afford it and/or receive help from your employer. It is located in a good convenient area of Salt Lake. The atmosphere on campus felt more like a family (as opposed to the University of Utah)and everything was close by since the campus was small.

Comments about Westminster College:
I selected this school because of the MBA in Technology Management program. I received individualized instruction and courses were consistently updated with current trends and materials. I was able to take less credits/classes certain semesters due to personal matters, which wold have never happened at a larger institution. Highly recommend Westminster College!
