Bachelor of Arts in Insurance Management
The insurance management degree will allow students to apply fundamental principles and concepts related to risk management and property management and liability insurance using a customer-focused marekting orientation modeled on exceptional service and problem solving. Students will learn to communicate and adopt ethical and professional behaviors, practices and decision making used in the insurance industry. Understanding new business, underwriting, claims and policy conversion will be required in addition to other common industry practices and standards. All of the areas will be enhanced through learning collaborative skills that will help drive organizational goals. These courses qualify as elective credits for students working toward an undergraduate degree.
