Farmingdale State University of NY, Long Island’s first public college, is a coeducational institution with 6,000 undergraduate students pursuing their educational goals in business, liberal arts, the applied sciences, health sciences and engineering technology. The college has a traditional 380-acre northeast campus situated in a convenient and centralized location in the heart of Long Island that allows limitless opportunities for internships with leading local companies. We offer over thirty degree programs that prepare our students for a successful future by engaging them in real-life applications of knowledge, critical thinking and a sound liberal arts education. With over 400 full-time and adjunct faculty, classes are small and personalized. Farmingdale State is a NCAA Division III school with fifteen men and women’s teams and a member of the prestigious Skyline Athletic Conference.
