M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree program at the College Humanities and Social Sciences is designed for students interested in becoming professional counselors. This MS in mental health counseling program provides the knowledge and skills needed to assist a variety of clients who are impacted by many psychological, social, behavioral and emotional issues. Graduates of the program will be able to utilize the theoretical foundations of professional counseling, synthesize ethical standards into the counselor-client relationship, create social and cultural dimensions, make professional counseling research findings and articulate career path options in the field of professional counseling intervention.
