According to the school, Henderson State University is a small, public, liberal arts university with an emphasis on producing well-rounded graduates in arts and sciences, education and business. Known as ‘The School with a Heart,’ Henderson faculty and staff take the extra time to help students make the transition from high school to college life. The university has the only four-year aviation program in the state, and faculty members are strong supporters of undergraduate research efforts.
