Linfield College has been described as a ‘hidden jewel’ among the nation’s colleges and is one of the few solely undergraduate institutions in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When you are ready for rigorous academics, a collaborative community and experiential and international learning opportunities, we’ll be ready for you. \r\n\r\nLinfield College is an independent institution, nationally recognized for its strong teaching faculty, outstanding academic programs and distinctive international emphasis. Our campus in Portland, established in 1982, offers the nursing major as well as a major in health sciences. Our Division of Continuing Education, established in 1975, offers a web-based baccalaureate program for working adults. Linfield is one of the oldest colleges on the West Coast, chartered in 1858 and tracing its roots to an institution established in 1849.
