According to the school, Lyon College is a private, residential, undergraduate institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) located in Batesville, Arkansas. Founded in 1872, it is the oldest private institution in the state. Lyon is distinguished by the quality of its faculty, its student-run honor system, the beauty of its campus and its endowed international studies program.
