Master of Organizational Leadership

The Master of Organizational Leadership program (MOL) has one overriding aim: to produce leaders. Leaders are people who practice leadership and not just people who know something about it. Graduates of the MOL students will be able to identify and apply the major concepts and models of leadership, specifically in the areas of systems thinking, coaching and mentoring, decision making, diversity, and organizational change. All of these subject areas provide the student with a “big picture” perspective of what it takes to be the leader of an organization always prepared for its next reality.

Medaille’s Masters in Organizational Leadership is preparing the next generation of leaders. It’s designed to develop and enhance the management skills necessary to function effectively within business, industry, healthcare and community organizations. Our program focuses on the management of human and physical resources within various organizational cultures. Students learn the skills required to manage people, plans and projects.

MAOL Program goals:

  • To identify and apply the major theories, concepts, and models which make up the field of organizational leadership.
  • To cultivate an in-depth understanding of human behavior.
  • To develop conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • To develop leadership skills and models for multiple applications and diverse settings.
  • To cultivate in each student a sense of purpose and ethical responsibility.
