Misericordia University is a place where caring, motivated students get the high quality education they seek, the attention they deserve, and the opportunities they need to be successful. Nationally known for producing talented graduates in the health sciences, including nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, medical imaging, and speech-language pathology, MU offers a combined 32 majors at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate levels. In the tradition of its founders, the Religious Sisters of Mercy, Misericordia believes that serving others builds better leaders and leads to successful careers and rewarding lives. The University offers special service learning opportunities in our local community as well as around the country and internationally in Jamaica and Guyana. The University’s research focus is one that stresses teaching and learning. Undergraduate research programs in a number of disciplines including the health sciences, humanities, biology and chemistry are popular. Noted for its beautiful 120 acre suburban campus, the university boasts an ultra-modern dining hall, new and renovated residence halls and a recently completed world-class soccer and lacrosse field.
