Electrical with PLC - Diploma

The Electrical with PLC Diploma Program prepares the student with technical skills and practical knowledge to perform installation tasks, services, and repairs in the electrical trade specializing in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Graduates from this program will be able to fill positions as an electrician helper for services and construction firms in residential, commercial and industrial businesses associated with the electrical trade industry. Students are eligible for certifications in: OSHA 10 Safety Training Course, NCCER Core Curriculum, NCCER Electrical Level 1, 2, and 3.

A total of 900 contact hours is required and divided into 300 lecture hours and 600 lab hours. The program consists of 64 quarter credits. Employment opportunities include electricians’ helper/electricians’ assistant (residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems), maintenance and repair workers, and electrical service technicians.
