Construction Management - Bachelor's Degree
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management program prepares the students to develop a career as Construction Managers. Students will be able to manage, supervise, direct, and inspect construction sites and other facilities. Students will examine the importance of safety on site, prevention, personnel management, and investigation of accidents in diverse facilities. Students will analyze and debate the building construction laws and regulations. In addition, they will demonstrate knowledge of effective communication, project management, scheduling, and logistics. Students are eligible for certification of completion for: OSHA 10 Safety Training Course, and LEED Green Associate. A total of 184-215 quarter credits is required and divided into 16 courses upper level, 12/15 courses concentration tracks and 8 courses general education. Employment opportunities include Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Project Supervisor.
Admission Requirements
A student must first successfully graduate from a Construction Trades (HVAC, Welding, Electrical or other) diploma or degree program, from either NUC-FTC or another accredited institution, as a prerequisite for enrolling into the Construction Management Bachelor program. External transcripts must be evaluated by Academic Affairs to determine transfer of credits accepted into the program.
