PhD - Education and Supervision
This specialization is designed for students that are interested in becoming leaders and mentors for the next generation of marriage and family therapists. Courses within this specialization cover vital topics such as professional identity development, strategies for assessing trainee competence and ethical responsibilities for supervisors. Additional topics include working with adult learners in e-learning environments, using technology to facilitate training and emerging digital technologies.
Students with this specialization are required to focus on issues related to education and supervision for their course projects, Advanced Practical Experience Component and dissertation research.
