Niagara University celebrated its 150th anniversary as a Catholic institution of higher education. Founded by the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentian Fathers and Brothers) in 1856, Niagara is distinguished by its beautiful campus on the gorge overlooking Canada, the quality of its highly accredited academic programs, and commitment to student engagement and community service. All undergraduates participate in service learning; half in undergraduate research, and many in study abroad, cooperative education and internships.
