Ripon College offers an intensely personal liberal arts education in a residential setting. Part of that education includes a one-on-one dynamic between the student and the faculty member. Communicating Plus emphasizes the development of written and oral communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The curriculum focuses on exploring career choices, selecting opportunities to reach those goals and connecting with faculty and alumni through the classroom, internships and research. Student-faculty collaboration is paramount which results in participation in state, regional and national conferences and published research articles in many disciplines. Among Ripon’s distinctions are a nationally competitive forensics team which offers scholarships to members, three Rhodes Scholars (including a 2002 selection) and a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
