Medical Assistant

Students have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in areas such as anatomy, physiology, the body systems, medical terminology, medical front office procedures, venipuncture, laboratory diagnostic procedures, EKG, as well as instruction in the techniques of finding and retaining a job.

Students have the opportunity to develop skills and competencies further by participating in a 168-hour externship in locations such as clinics, laboratories, medical offices, hospitals, and more.
