Welding Technician

The Welding program provides training for an entry-level position in welding. The Program will provide instruction injoining and cutting metal surfaces, arc welding, resistance welding, brazing, and soldering.

Graduates may find entry-level employment as welders in commercial, industrial, or small businesses working with a variety of metals and working with both plate and pipe welding. Graduates may work in fabrication, cutting, soldering, or brazing.

Students receive instruction in the techniques of finding and retaining a job.
