Simpson College is a caring community of learners and leaders. Faculty, staff and students are dedicated to an environment that promotes learning through open discussion, mutual respect and academic excellence and a sense of shared community.\r\nSimpson is a center for study of Iowa history, has a partnership with the Great Ape Trust of Iowa, and has recently created the Simpson Urban Studies Institute (SUSI). These programs (among many others), along with our unbeatable location, provide students with multiple opportunities.\r\nOur May Term program exposes students to many experiences including the chance to take a class out of their major area, get an internship, or to take domestic or international trips. These all contribute to the students’ growing world view.
