Clinical Medical Assistant
The Clinical Medical Assistant course will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully perform multi-faceted functions in a physician’s office. Back office skills are emphasized along with basic medical terminology and anatomy. Topics covered include vital signs, patient history, physical examination, minor office surgery, calculation of medication doses and administration, venipuncture, EKGs, and emergency medical procedures. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to complete an externship and gain real-world experience!
