UW-La Crosse offers 85 undergraduate degree programs in 30 disciplines, and 21 graduate degree programs and emphasis in eight areas of study. The University is divided into three areas: Business Administration; Science and Health; and Liberal Studies. In recent years, UW-L has quietly positioned itself as one of the best public universities in the country. In 2008, U.S. News & World Report ranked UW-La Crosse 2 among public universities offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the Midwest, was listed among the top public colleges nationwide in the most recent rankings by Kiplinger’s financial magazine, and is among the 10 fittest campuses in the country according to Men’s Health magazine.
