According to the school, Delaware State University is located on a 400-acre campus in Dover, Delaware, serving a student population of about 3,200. In its 115-year history, DSU has developed into a diverse institution that offers 77 undergraduate degrees, 24 graduate degrees, and 6 doctoral programs. In addition to the traditional disciplines, the university offers unique majors such as biotechnology, nursing, social work, and sport sciences. The university has dramatically increased its research activity, especially in the areas of natural resources, chemistry, biotechnology, and applied optics.
