According to the school, the University of Montana Western provides innovative interdisciplinary education through experiential learning that combines theory and practice. To better facilitate this type of learning, Montana Western offers to Experience One an educational approach where students take a single course at a time, usually four courses per semester, each course lasting for 18 instructional days.
