According to the school, this four-year residential, liberal arts college of 1,300 students in Sherman, Texas, is one of the top colleges in the nation for international focus. Almost 70 percent of the 2008 graduates studied abroad for a term or more. Faculty led courses in 17 countries during January term 2008 with nearly 300 travelers. Students also enjoy cultural and language immersion experiences in French, German, Japanese, and Spanish in the residential Jordan Family Language House.
