The institution is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE), which is the successor to COEI of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The above council is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and by the Council on Regional Post Secondary Accreditation (CORPA).COE is also a member of the Commission on International and Trans regional Accreditation Alliance (CITA). This alliance, composed of most of the regional accrediting agencies, offers a system of accreditation to over 30,000 public and private institutions in over one hundred countries.
