The majority of students live in one of four on-campus residence halls, or two College-run apartment complexes, and eat in the campus dining hall.\r\nAcademics: There are 29 undergraduate majors offered and the option to design an individualized major to fit career and academic goals. The average class size at Lake Erie College is 15 and the average student-faculty ratio is 15:1. Athletics: The College offers twenty NCAA division II athletic teams including mens golf, soccer, tennis, lacrosse, football, cross country, basketball, baseball and indoor and outdoor track, and womens golf, soccer, cross country, volleyball, lacrosse, tennis, basketball, softball and indoor and outdoor track. Equestrian teams also engage in competition in the areas of Hunt Seat, Western and Dressage, adding even more to the campus activity. Student Life: Campus life is about living and learning with your friends. Lake Erie College is home to a variety of cultural and extra-curricular activities including theatre and music productions and many campus events. Intramural programs are available in addition to many student groups ranging from sororities, academic, cultural and environmental groups. Location: Located in Painesville, Ohio, Lake Erie College provides a beautiful and historic setting for academics with easy access to all of the action downtown. The historic 65-acre campus has over 15 buildings for educational and recreational use. An additional 85 acres is located six miles from campus and is home to the Colleges equestrian center with a 100-stall barn and multiple riding facilities.\r\nLake Erie College offers subsidized end-of-year study tours to junior and senior level students who have completed required courses. Tour locations vary from year to year and trips are two to three weeks in length
