According to the school, LeMoyne-Owen College is an historically black college founded in 1862. Offering the Bachelors degree in 22 different areas, LeMoyne-Owen College is located in the city of Memphis, TN which has a metropolitan population of nearly 1.4 million people. LeMoyne-Owen has prepared generations of teachers and other leaders from the black community.
