According to the school, since its founding in 1945, Indiana University Kokomo has served the educational needs of the citizens of north central Indiana through a broad spectrum of undergraduate programs leading to associate and baccalaureate degrees, a limited range of graduate offerings, and a wide variety of continuing education activities. As part of Indiana University, the Kokomo campus is committed to the attainment of excellence in all of its endeavors. The resident faculty of IU Kokomo is the core of the teaching staff on this campus revered for its excellent student-teacher ration which affords the students opportunities to build lasting relationships with professors as well as the possibility of participating in research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
