The campus American Marketing Association remains the most decorated chapter in the nation for its work on marketing case studies and competitions. The AMA chapter is just one of the more than 160 student organizations available to students. UW-Whitewater has a national reputation for undergraduate research. The university consistently sends one of the largest groups of students to the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. In 2007, nearly 80 student researchers traveled to NCUR, the second highest number of participants in the nation. UW-Whitewater also recognizes the importance of international education.
